WE ARE EUCHARISTIC

“Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drinks His Blood, You have no life in you”.. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has Eternal Life.. (John 6:53-54)

The Celebration of the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ affords the Universal Church the opportunity to reflect with gratitude this eternal truth and the depth of Christ’s love, when He left the Church the gift of Himself (Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity for the salvation of the world).
For us, Sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, the Feast of Corpus Christi is one of the Principal Feast of our Institute. By the celebration of this feast, we reflect deeply on the real presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist and the gift of Himself for us, so that freely we may give Him our love in its entirety, who has also loved us incredibly.

The feast of today challenges us to do a retrospect, on the depth of our faith in the real presence of Christ and the depth of our love for Him. Therefore today, we join the entire Church to celebrate this great day in honor of our Eucharistic Lord.

Our Sisters in their different communities took part in this feast from the early hours of the day with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, offering their prayers to God in adoration and praise for this great gift of the Eucharist. Gathered together as one family we celebrated our oneness in the Lord and prayed for us, the church and the world.

May our Eucharistic Lord, make our hearts a suitable dwelling place for Him and transform our lives through the daily reception of His Body and Blood. May our lives give honor and glory to Him, in love of Jesus and our neighbor with the same intensity of love He has shown us Amen.
