Seven Sisters Say “Yes” in Perpetuity to Jesus Christ, Their Spouse
On August 15, 2026, seven of our beloved Sisters joyfully gave their “Yes” in perpetuity to Jesus Christ, their Spouse, as they made their Perpetual Vows in the Institute of the Sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus (EHJ).
In an atmosphere of prayer, thanksgiving, and profound joy, the Sisters publicly and solemnly consecrated themselves to God, embracing the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience in perpetuity, and committing their lives entirely to Christ and His mission.
In the presence of our Superior General, Rev. Sr. Mary Fausta Manafa, EHJ, and our Chief Shepherd, His Grace, Most Rev. Alfred Adewale Martins, together with priests, religious, lay faithful, and, most especially, their families and loved ones, the celebration became a beautiful expression of the Church’s joy. Surrounded by the prayer and support of the Christian community, these brides of Christ solemnly sealed their covenant of love and fidelity with the Lord.
Their perpetual profession is not merely the culmination of a journey of formation; it is the beginning of an even deeper and lifelong commitment to Christ, His Church, and the mission entrusted to them. Through their consecrated lives, they are called to become witnesses of God’s love, instruments of communion, and joyful servants of His people.
We rejoice with our newly professed Sisters and entrust their consecrated lives to the loving care of Jesus, our Eucharistic Lord. May He strengthen them in fidelity, deepen their love, sustain them in every moment, and make their lives radiant witnesses to His presence in the world.
