Picture highlights of the Flag off Distribution of Agricultural Capacity Building and Value Chain inputs in Badagry LGA – B-SLIC Project by Conrad Hilton Foundation & Caritas Nigeria, partnered by eHJ Sisters
The B-SLIC Project has recorded notable successes in building sustainable livelihoods and strengthening community resilience. Key achievements include: Formation and training in 14 vocational skills, including:
- Support to Farmers
- Training in improved agricultural practises
- Promotion of climate-smart agriculture
- SILC Groups (Savings and Internal Lending Community)
- Formation and strengthening of SILC groups (Àjọ / cooperative-style savings in the absence of banks in rural areas)
- Homestead Gardening
- Promotion of household food security through home gardens
- Provision of Start-up Support
- Purchase and distribution of vocational skills kits to beneficiaries
