The Superior General
Rev. Sister Dr. M. Fausta Manafa, EHJ
Rev. Sr. Dr. M. Fausta Manafa, EHJ was admitted into the Novitiate of the Sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus on July 16, 1983 and made her first profession of vows on August 15, 1985 and her final profession of vows on September 1, 1991. She has a Bachelor in Education, Master’s degree and Doctoral degree in Sociology of Education. She is a seasoned educationist and has served the Institute as Principal and as other head of schools in the Institute. She is a very calculative and reflective person and loves reading. She has impacted and influenced positively a lot of the youth with her great humility and wealth of knowledge.
The General Chapter of 2003 elected her a member of the General council, while that of 2009 elected her as the Vicar General. The 10th General Chapter of the Institute on Monday, September 20, 2021 elected her as the Superior General for a tenure of Six years. She was until her election as the Superior General, a lecturer at the National Open University in Lagos State.
