She never missed the first Thursday Vigil devotion and encouraged others to do so. She was also devoted to praying the Stations of the Cross and was a great devotee of the Precious Blood.
Her last days on earth was spent confined to a bed at Anthony Cardinal Okogie Medical Centre, Oko-Oba, Lagos. After suffering a long battle with cancer, and enduring the most excruciating pains of it with heroic attitude, she passed on to her heavenly reward on the 3rd of September, 2020 on the eve of the first Friday of the month of September at 6:45pm. A heroic passage which has been described by all EHJ Sisters as a testimony, legacy, and heavenly message to all and sundry to always keep to the one hour vigil before the Blessed Sacrament on the eve of the first Friday of the month to console His Sacred and Agonizing Heart.
